Hospitality Design

A true passion of mine is hospitality design. The opportunity to incorporate my love of design into the logistics and spacial engineering of hotels and restaurants is a real home run. It helps to have a good understanding of what makes a commercial space successful on many levels, how to utilize the budget to it’s best advantage and the desire to thrill clients and their customers by creating an interior space that is surprising but effortlessly comfortable.

The presentation board below is an example of design for a hotel in Viet Nam based on the graphic concept of a banana. We are all very familiar with bananas but perhaps this is a slightly different perspective. The design portrayed includes only the first two floors into which two restaurants, two bars and one lounge are incorporated. This design is for showcase only so does not include the necessary facilities typical of any commercial space but it does comply with US ADA requirements.

The name of the hotel is Hotel Vui- Vui translated into English means Joy
